About Us

JSDance was established in 1997 by Brisbane dance teacher, Jackie Meaney. She saw a need for a boutique studio ensuring quality training but a focus on enjoyment and balanced approach to dance in students’ lives. In 2020, employee and long time student Joanne Horner continues to direct JSDance into the future with these solid philosophies. 

We promote the importance of dance teachers being qualified to work with young growing bodies and minds and this should be considered a top priority in choosing the right dance studio for your family. JSDance is celebrating 25yrs operating in the same location, which demonstrates stability & commitment in a competitive industry. All staff are carefully selected to ensure they contribute to the positive values and policies that we work hard to deliver;
